At Leeds Gate Repairs, we know the importance of having secure access control and intercoms for your automatic gate system for home or your business. To help you, we stock a wide variety of products including: intercoms, proximity readers, buttons and keypads, wireless GSM and phone modules, loop detectors and, of course, the all important safety equipment including photocells and safety edges.
Intercoms
It’s now easier than ever to get an a intercom system. We can supply and fit any of the industry’s leading systems from manufacturers like Videx, AES, Comelit and Diatem. Be it a simple by the door audio phone, or a video call to your mobile phone, we have got you covered. If you have any questions, or would like advice about the best intercom for your automated gate system, please give us a call or an email.

Keypads
It’s now easier than ever to get a standalone keypad system. We can supply and fit all of the industry’s leading systems from manufacturers like Videx, SRS, Beninca, Nice, BFT and FAAC to name a few, and we can install keypads for both entry and exit. They’re particularly useful for households/ businesses that may have several people who need to enter the property. A code releases the gate(s), and this can be changed if, for example, a member of staff leaves. They’re also useful when you want to go out without taking a radio transmitter, allowing you easy access. We carry both hard wired and wireless keypads to provide your home or business with secure access control.

Extra Gate Entry Fobs
If you require an extra entry/ exit fob, do not hesitate to contact us so that we can help you. We supply all of the industry’s leading fobs: Beninca, Nice, BFT and FAAC to name a few. We can also source and programme fobs from other brands.
Entry and Exit Loops
Here’s how they work in essence: when something magnetic such as a bike, a car or a horse’s shoes pass over the loop, this signals the gate to open. As an extra security feature, we can also install a timer to disable them overnight. The sensitivity can be turned up or down, which means that, for example, it can be set so it won’t register to open when a horse’s hooves go near the gate.
These do require more preparation as we have to dig a trench in the driveway and bury a cable in a loop shape. However, they’re proving a popular choice as an entry or exit option that enables a gate to open for a vehicle, without requiring the driver to alert you via an intercom.
If you need help or advice about selecting the best entry and exit loop for your automated gate system, please give us a call or email to discuss your options.
